Wednesday night’s episode of MSNBC’s The ReidOut was a particularly “joyful” one. Seriously. Host Joy Reid’s obsession with how “fun” the Harris/Walz Democratic ticket is in comparison to the “frightening” Republican ticket of Trump/Vance was reflected in how many times she mentioned the word “joy” (i.e. far too many).

One of the most bizarre left-wing media spins is the claim that Tim Walz the Libertine Leftist can still appeal to rural conservative voters. He may back abortion on demand, "gender-affirming care" for kids, and free college for illegal immigrants, but hey, he likes hunting and ice fishing and he does butter carving. How does that cancel out the ideology?

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s decision to embellish, exaggerate, and otherwise puff up certain aspects of his military service have rapidly turned into a raging wildfire which the Regime Media are desperately trying to contain and extinguish, lest it also consume the presidential prospects of Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Morning Joe, after Mike Barnicle slobbers over the Walz VP announcement rally, Jonathan Lemire enthuses over Tim Walz's line, "mind your own damn business." Democrats the new libertarians? Hardly! They're the party that  wants to control countless facets of people's lives.

Vice President Kamala Harris announced her running mate pick, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), on Tuesday morning. MSNBC’s Morning Joe wasted no time in showering praise on the Governor for his apparently numerous positive qualities, insisting he would help secure the win for the Harris campaign with a “twinkle in his eye.”

Sandwiched between several odes to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after VP Kamala Harris announced him as her running mate, NBC chief political analyst Chuck Todd conceded on MSNBC’s Tuesday installment of Andrea Mitchell Reports that his selection at the expense of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro raised a “yellow flag” about progressives’ ability to bully Harris.

Johnson and Michael Steele, egged on by Symone Sanders-Townsend, work multiple mentions of "couch" into their discussion of JD Vance, a reference to a false and debunked claim about his personal life. 

It's now time for the promotional progressive press to lean into how cool Kamala is, so they tout endorsements by pop stars and gush over Maya Rudolph playing (not mocking) Harris on Saturday Night Live. CNN's Dana Bash said she was 'very, very, excited.' 

Eugene Robinson agrees with Mike Barnicle that Trump is "deeply damaged," adding that he is "dangerous," "not a well man," and has "some deep insecurity and feeling of inadequacy."
