MSNBC host Chris Hayes devoted the final segment of Monday’s All In to weighing in on the retirement of longtime Republican Congressman Peter King. In addition to portraying, Hayes King’s retirement as part of a large “red exodus” among House Republicans, Hayes attempted to characterize the retiring lawmaker as an “anti-Muslim” bigot.

It was on Friday that Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough was upset that Louisiana Senator John Kennedy called Speaker Nancy Pelosi "dumb." But that was then and this is now. Apparently, Scarborough doesn’t remember what he says from day-to-day.  On Monday, he was up to his old tricks questioning whether President Trump is a Russian agent or simply a useful idiot.  

The panel on Sunday’s edition of Kasie DC acted as Democratic strategists, giving House Democrats advice ahead of the public testimony of career diplomats as part of the impeachment inquiry. One take pertained to fears that the public impeachment hearings won’t go as well as the left hopes and then the other comparedformer Attorney General Jeff Sessions to the ugly, racist George Wallace. 

When it comes to insulting and disrespecting President Trump in crude terms, Joe Scarborough is the veritable Don Rickles of political pundits. And so, Scarborough's faux-outrage rant this morning about a line Republican Senator John Kennedy used about Nancy Pelosi could go down as one of the most egregious examples of hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness in recorded television history.
