MSNBC reached self-parodying status on Monday night as a segment on The 11th Hour led by guest host Alicia Menendez on racism in politics led to racist accusations that Republicans are actively looking for a “black Manchurian candidate” and “black male supplicant” to advance white power.

On Monday afternoon, MSNBC host Katy Tur offered a friendly forum to Louisiana Democrat Senate candidate Luke Mixon, who's running against Republican Sen. John Kennedy. It's a kind gesture considering Mixon's trailing by 40 points. Tur allowed him to compare Republicans to Muslim extremists he fought during his career as a Navy fighter pilot.

On MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, paranoid conspiracy theorist host Nicolle Wallace floated the idea of an Orwellian “democracy commission” run by former President Barack Obama and chaired by former New Jersey governor Chris Christie and faux Republican election lawyer Ben Ginsberg to presumably stop the so-called Republican threat to democracy. 

For MSNBC, not all conspiracy theories are created equal. When a Democrat is engaging in them, they get invitations for softball interviews such as when California Rep. Sarah Jacobs joined Saturday’s Alex Witt Reports to suggest that Florida’s 15-week abortion ban will lead to teenagers having their menstrual health data weaponized against them.

MSNBC’s Katie Phang used her Saturday show to allege that the Republican response to the Herschel Walker-abortion allegations prove that they aren’t really pro-life because “it was always about being pro-power.” Co-host of the Democracy-ish podcast, Danielle Moodie agreed, claiming Republicans use that power to be the party of “cruelty and oppression” for “millions of people with…

In the first 70 minutes of Friday's Morning Joe, the panel mentions no fewer than 17 times the need for an "off-ramp" for Putin in order to end the war in Ukraine. But no one advances a realistic scenario of what such an off-ramp might be.

MSNBC's seething hate for much of the country came through, yet again, on Tuesday night as Democratic operative James Carville appeared to slime the “stupid,” “staggering humanity of conservative evangelicals.” Spitting venom, he described the “problem” Republicans have with “low quality” voters. 

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough claims to be "very conservative," but fails to mention abortion on his list of issues proving his conservative credentials. He's upset that pro-lifers would stick to supporting Herschel Walker in the U.S. Senate race in Georgia. 

On its show of October 4th, Morning Joe devotes over 15 minutes to the story that Herschel Walker, who has taken a strong pro-life position, once paid for a girlfriend's abortion. Walker has flatly denied the allegation. Morning Joe makes frequent mention of Walker's alleged "hypocrisy."
