The journalists at Good Morning America on Wednesday downplayed the latest anti-Jewish outburst by Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar as simply a “family feud” over Israel. And while GMA reported that something happened with Omar and thus admitting that she said *something,* the network didn't define the remarks targeting Jewish supporters of Israel. 

In 24 hours, NONE of the flagship morning and evening news programs for the Big Three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) saw fit to inform viewers that liberal darling, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was facing serious accusations of campaign finance violations. If true, those allegations carried possible jail time.

On Monday, The New York Post’s Page Six reported that ABC’s Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts complained to The Cut magazine that her homosexuality created a “no win situation” [sic] for her ridiculous softball interview with Empire actor and accused hoaxer Jussie Smollett.

George Stephanopoulos is quickly becoming the favorite news anchor for 2020 Democratic candidates to talk to as they enter the presidential race. On ABC’s Good Morning America, co-host George Stephanopoulos framed today’s congressional testimony from ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen not as a case of an admitted liar potentially seeking to avoid the consequences of his crimes, but as an “epic,” “historic,” “Watergate”-style showdown, with Cohen playing the role of Nixon White House whistleblower John Dean.

After first allowing Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro to spout off lies and conspiratorial statements against the United States on Monday’s World News Tonight, the report on Tuesday’s Good Morning America actually highlighted ABC chief national correspondent Tom Llamas pressing the murderous dictator on his regime’s atrocities.

Apparently, one congressional effort that can’t succeed is worthy of attention on ABC and CBS, but the other is not. The difference? The two networks yawned at a pro-life effort to protect infants who survive abortions. But Good Morning America and CBS This Morning hyped the mostly Democratic move to terminate Donald Trump’s national declaration of emergency on the southern border. 

While all three broadcast network shows on Tuesday hyped Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen preparing to testify before Congress throughout the week against the President, amazingly, ABC’s Good Morning America completely skipped any mention of the convicted felon’s massive credibility problems and that he previously lied to Congress.  

ABC and CBS on Monday offered sneering shots at Green Book, the Oscar winner for best picture, as not being sufficiently enlightened enough. Deriding the movie as “problematic” and “inauthentic,” Good Morning America and CBS This Morning chided it as a film that “glosses over” Jim Crow-era horrors. 

Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts, the woman who refused to say the word “alleged” when interviewing Jussie Smollett, has suddenly discovered that there were “a lot of red flags” in the hate crimes case, now widely dismissed as a hoax. Roberts got a do-over as she interviewed Chicago’s superintendent of police, Eddie Johnson.
