Despite a four hour run time, NBC’s Today on Friday couldn’t be bothered to cover the news that Huma Abedin has been interviewed by the FBI and that Hillary Clinton will soon. CBS This Morning journalists managed a mere 31 seconds and ABC’s Good Morning America produced a scant 17 seconds.  Most of CBS’s half minute coverage was devoted to repeating Clinton talking points. 

On Thursday, all three network morning shows dutifully promoted the Obama Justice Department threatening to sue North Carolina over its transgender bathroom law and accusing the state of violating the Civil Rights Act. At the top of Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer proclaimed: “Game on. Clinton and Trump gear up for their likely general election showdown....They’re two of the most unpopular candidates in recent history.” He then promised an examination of the flaws of both candidates: “This morning, the major obstacles facing both campaigns.”

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night went down to defeat in Indiana. This is her 18th primary or caucus loss to Bernie Sanders. The former Secretary of State has won an unimpressive 23 times against the aging socialist. Yet, ABC and CBS largely glossed over Clinton’s string of losses and insisted the important part is that she’ll win the nomination. 

Good Morning America’s Matthew Dowd on Wednesday offered a weird analogy for the status of Donald Trump: He’s like a Greek god from Mount Olympus. The network analyst blurted, “It's almost as if this is out of Greek mythology, right?”

On Monday, all three network morning shows covered the violent May Day rioting that broke out across Seattle on Sunday. However, the NBC, ABC, and CBS broadcasts made sure to tout how “the march began as a peaceful demonstration for the rights of workers and immigrants.” No liberal labels were used to characterize the protesters and the reporters avoided explaining the Communist roots of the day.

The May 2 edition of Notable Quotables, MRC’s bi-weekly compilation of the latest outrageous quotes in the liberal media. This issue: Hillary Clinton has had to endure a decades long “negative relationship” with the media. Meanwhile, Barack Obama was acclaimed as “Mt.
