Saturday marks 20 years since the tragic Columbine school shooting in Littleton, Colorado. Liberal journalists have already begun their retrospectives that included requisite attacks on the NRA and gun owners. The following is a look back at the most biased and ugliest broadsides in the weeks following the April 20, 1999 Columbine shooting:.  

On Monday, all three network morning shows recited the same nasty accusations from Democrats that President Trump was “inciting violence” against left-wing Congresswoman Ilhan Omar simply by criticizing her offensive comments downplaying the September 11th attacks. Glossing over Omar’s incendiary rhetoric, hosts and correspondents feared for the liberal lawmaker’s safety.

South Bend, Indiana mayor, Pete Buttigieg (D) was set to formally announce his candidacy for president on Sunday and ABC’s Good Morning America completely bought into the hype and tried to amplify it. According to co-host Whit Jonson, the network sent chief national correspondent Matt Gutman to South Bend to “look at Mayor Pete and the momentum he's building.”

After the media failed to notice controversial Democratic Congresswoman Ihan Omar making offensive public comments two weeks ago in which she downplayed the September 11th terrorist attacks as “some people did something,” NBC’s Today show finally discovered the story on Thursday. The ABC and CBS morning shows continued to ignore Omar’s latest scandal, while NBC tried to paint her as a victim.  

On Wednesday, both NBC’s Today show and ABC’s Good Morning America promoted congressional Democrats complaining about Attorney General William Barr’s testimony on Capitol Hill regarding the upcoming release of the Mueller report. Little or no attention was given to Republicans as anchors and reporters warned of “Democrats still not happy.”

Wednesday the Good Morning America team was so eager to “fact-check” President Trump that they slammed him for something he didn’t even say. During a White House photo-op Tuesday, White House correspondent Jonathan Karl berated Trump on the family separation policy that he “started.” After Trump correctly pointed out that the Obama administration also separated children at the border, Karl and…

On Monday, all three network morning shows reveled in Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announcing her resignation with relieved reporting about her “tumultuous tenure” at the department being over and touting Democrats blasting the Trump cabinet official. Correspondents fretted over who would replace Nielsen as they bid her “good riddance.”

We’ve come to expect former Obama officials getting off easy when they appear on the morning shows. However, sometimes the complete lack of any sort of impartial standard really is shocking. That was the case Tuesday when former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett came on ABC’s Good Morning America to promote her new memoir called "Finding My Voice." The networks on Monday framed Joe Biden’s response to charges of unwanted touching by women as “fighting back” now that “standards have changed” on what used to be considered his “harmless behavior.”  ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the accusations from Lucy Flores, but only CBS This Morning led with the story. 

On Friday, reporters for ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning were unable to conceal their disgust over President Trump taking a “profane victory lap” during a Thursday night rally in Michigan, following the results of the Mueller report. The coverage was dripping with contempt as the correspondents whined about the event, fearing “vengeance in the air” among Trump and his supporters.

Eager to find a new way to boost Democrats after Robert Mueller’s report did not find President Trump guilty of Russian collusion, on Wednesday, all three network morning shows celebrated the administration’s legal opposition to ObamaCare as a “winning issue” and “political gift” for liberal lawmakers.

In an attempt by network journalists to console themselves and their liberal viewers over Special Counsel Robert Mueller clearing President Trump of Russian collusion, on Monday, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows eagerly listed “scores” of other investigations Democrats were pursuing against the President, promising that Trump’s “legal problems continue.”

All three networks spent Thursday morning gushing in favor of New Zealand’s new gun ban, touting that it had “widespread, bipartisan support” with “very little opposition.” ABC, NBC and CBS also spent time shaming the U.S. for not adopting a similar buyback measure.

On Monday, while both CBS This Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America managed to at least mention Beto O’Rourke receiving greater “scrutiny” and making “gaffes” over the weekend, NBC’s Today show skipped the Democratic presidential candidate’s unflattering stumbles in favor of gushing over his “eye-popping” fundraising numbers.
