Appearing as a guest on Friday's New Day on CNN a year after Fidel Castro's death to promote his film about Castro's Cuba, filmmaker Jon Alpert blamed the United States for the economic failures of communism on the island country as he charged that the U.S. ruined the Cuban economy by flooding the sugar market in the 1970s.

While a guest on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House program on Monday afternoon, November 20, Melissa Mark-Viverito -- speaker of the New York City Council -- hammered President Donald Trump as “unhinged” and “fragile” and said his response to the devastation created by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September is “very racist in nature.”

That didn’t take long. Despite deluging the country with stories on Roy Moore, the ABC and NBC network morning shows, Monday, avoided any coverage of Al Franken and the ongoing charges of sexual harassment. CBS This Morning allowed a scant 28 seconds to the Democrat’s assertions he will not resign. Between all three networks, that’s 28 seconds out of a combined 8 HOURS of available air time. 

To promote his Monday night special glorifying late-night comedians bashing Trump, CNN’s Brian Stelter closed out his Sunday show by showing off his giddy interview with Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik. Stelter was like a kid in a candy store as he laughed along with his guest, joking about Trump’s speech patterns and mocking him for being out of shape.

CNN’s Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter invited on HLN’s S.E. Unfiltered host S.E. Cupp for an illuminating 22-minute podcast released Friday dealing with conservative distrust in the news media.
