On Wednesday’s CBS This Morning, while co-host Gayle King noted that “a petition against the retail giant Target is gaining a lot of momentum” over the company’s transgender bathroom policy, financial contributor Mellody Hobson dismissed the protest: “You know, it's very hard for these kind of boycotts to work.  We haven't seen real success since the civil rights era in the 1960s.”

On Tuesday the New York attorney general announced that the class action lawsuit accusing Donald Trump of fraud, for his failed Trump University, will be going to trial. Of the big three new networks only NBC failed to report on the major news about the GOP front-runner. Former Bill Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday urged Bernie Sanders to swear “unconditional support” to Hillary Clinton. The Good Morning America co-host played a video clip of the Democratic front-runner and then demanded, “Are you prepared to give her your unconditional support if she gets the delegates?”

Making his latest appearance on CBS This Morning with co-host, devout fan, and Obama friend Gayle King, Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore was serenaded on Monday by King and her fellow co-hosts as a “passionate centrist” who loves President Obama but supposedly mocks politicians on both sides. 

The journalists at ABC and CBS on Monday excitedly pushed the idea that the Koch brothers will politically stay on the sideline.
