Liberals rejoice! Your dream of a Hillary Clinton presidency finally is coming true on CBS’s Madam Secretary. The sixth and final season of the show features the titular Madam Secretary now serving as the first female president in the midst of her first 100 days. Of course, even though she’s the perfect president, the series still uses her position to get out some last few Trump scandal jabs.

The jobs report that came out Friday showed that the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 percent; the lowest in half a century. Yet, the three evening newscasts on the “alphabet soup” networks decided that this historic occasion merited little to no coverage. NBC Nightly News did not bring up the jobs report at all while the other two newscasts spent a combined 32 seconds on the economy.

Who better than former Obama/Biden official Susan Rice to talk about Joe Biden’s dealings with Ukraine and the identify of an anonymous whistleblower? (Rice in 2017 came under fire for requesting identities of dozens of people connected to Donald Trump.) Apparently, that’s exactly who the journalists at CBS This Morning wanted for an interview. 

The pilot for CBS’s new series Evil last week was interesting to say the least. The show followed an agnostic forensic psychologist and a budding priest investigating the validity of supernatural events, and yet, religion wasn’t maligned every few minutes.
