Following a January 7 settlement with CNN, a February 24 court filing revealed that Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann and his legal team intend to keep up the fight against the liberal media that tried to ruin his life in January 2019 after he was harangued by Native American activist Nathan Phillips.

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Monday waved goodbye to Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 campaign with one last disingenuous claim that the liberal Democrat is a “moderate.” This weekend, all three networks cheered mysterious “moderate” alternatives to Bernie Sanders. Apparently, all you have to do to be a centrist is simply not take a vacation to the Soviet Union. 

The broadcast networks weren’t really interested when ex-Democratic Mayor of Baltimore Catherine Pugh was raided by the FBI and the IRS in April of last year amid charges of corruption, nor when she was forced to resign just a few days later. So, it’s not surprising that ABC, CBS, and NBC completely ignored her pleading guilty and sentenced to three years in prison on Thursday.

Continuing to sell her pompously titled book, The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For, millennial Time magazine journalist Charlotte Alter appeared on Wednesday’s CBS Late Show, aired early Thursday morning, to gush over members of the left-wing millennial resistance to President Trump. She even compared them to wizard heroes in the Harry Potter book and movie series.

Shortly before President Trump addressed the nation on Wednesday to explain what his administration was doing to prepare for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), ABC’s World News Tonight and the CBS Evening News decided to give a megaphone to Democratic lawmakers so they could suggest the administration wasn’t taking the virus seriously.

President Trump’s state visit to India received less than a single minute of evening news coverage from broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC). But back in 2010, those same networks dedicated more than 20 times as much coverage (18.5 minutes) to then-President Obama’s India trip, often making it the top item of their nightly newscasts.

At the opening of Wednesday’s CBS This Morning, co-host Anthony Mason touted a new poll conducted by the network immediately following Tuesday night’s chaotic Democratic Debate. The survey of “Democratic debate watchers” found that 47% felt “nervous” about the field of 2020 candidates after watching the free-for-all.

During a live edition of the Late Show following Tuesday night’s chaotic Democratic Debate, host Stephen Colbert applauded the candidates for ignoring moderator and CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell throughout much of the raucous event. He also ironically warned that “you can’t listen to a TV person.”
