Friday’s broadcast network morning shows were in a jovial mood as they celebrated a “big win” and “milestone” for America as President Biden and congressional Democrats are set to vote on their “historic” and “massive economic plan” they claim will lower inflation, help save the planet, make prescriptions cheaper, and increase taxes.

With the harsh and oppressive conviction on Thursday of Brittney Griner by Russia, talks are underway for a prisoner swap. And while Americans want to see the WNBA star freed, the network morning and evening newscasts don’t seem particularly interested in just who Joe Biden would be trading in order to free Griner.

The three main broadcast networks spent Thursday morning hyping the defeat of a pro-life Kansas ballot measure as “blowback” for the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling, left conservatives “flat-footed,” and has the potential to motivate Democrats to vote in November.
