A COVID-ridden Stephen Colbert hosted Monday’s edition of The Late Show on CBS from home and claimed that the GOP could not vote for Jesus in the quest to find a Speaker of the House because “He was worse than a socialist, he was a Christian.”

CBS is so shamelessly partisan than it can pair a puffball interview with Joe Biden and a vicious attack piece on Ron DeSantis in the same 60 Minutes show. Add in leftist tilt at Face the Nation and Sunday Morning, and the whole day stinks for conservatives.

On Monday, U.S. Border Patrol officials revealed that they were concerned about the number of illegal migrants from countries with “ties to terrorism” like Iran and Afghanistan who have flooded across the southern border. Two years ago, CBS reporter Sharyn Alfonsi unloaded a 60 Minutes hit piece on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his COVID-vaccine rollout. On Sunday, CBS and Alfonsi uncorked another one.  Remember DeSantis flying migrants to Martha's Vineyard? CBS promoted a Democrat sheriff in Texas who says DeSantis committed a crime. 

Once again, former CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley politely offered President Joe Biden a helpful platform to pretend he's taking the tough questions. The worst question was Pelley suggesting "hard-right Republicans" are making the world more dangerous with their failure to elect a new Speaker.

Equal justice under the law is a difficult concept to understand for CBS Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan. During an interview Sunday with Republican Congressman Mike Turner, Brennan seemed stunned that he called for both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump to be treated the same for mishandling classified documents. 

The last time Israel sent tanks into Gaza, in 2014, we saw many in the U.S. media work to undermine the effort by blaming the Israelis for heavy casualties among Palestinian civilians who were, in fact, put in danger by the cruel decisions of cynical Hamas leaders.
