A new pre-midterm elections poll commissioned by Univision and AARP sounded the alarm about – HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE? – the finding that 47% of Florida’s Latino voters in the 50+ age bracket support President Donald Trump.

A very interesting exchange occurred on Al Punto, Univision’s Sunday political affairs show, which featured Chef José Andrés and host Jorge Ramos. Ramos and José Andrés managed to discuss the federal bureaucracy with regard to the Trump administration’s response to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico while leaving out one extremely critical element.

Univision senior news anchor Jorge Ramos launched his new, English-language Facebook Watch show, titled Real America with Jorge Ramos and true to form, he is using the platform to advance his activist agenda.

The most recent edition of Univision’s Sunday political affairs show Al Punto featured an interview with the governor of Puerto Rico on the eve of the first anniversary of Hurricane María’s catastrophic landfall upon the island territory. Host Jorge Ramos took the opportunity to further politicize the aftermath of the hurricane and push a hyperpartisan narrative.

Telemundo’s principal national evening newscast took note of widespread economic gains among U.S. Latinos — including unemployment below 5 percent for the fifth consecutive month - during coverage of President Trump’s big kick-off celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at the White House.

Retiring Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) went on the most recent edition of Univision's weekly political talker Al Punto, in order to discuss immigration and the Trump administration's response to the devastation that Hurricane Maria wrought upon Puerto Rico. But in the process of scoring a point against the administration, he smeared the United States Armed Forces.

As is his signature “interview” style, rather than allowing his guests on Univision's Al Punto program to answer his questions, host Jorge Ramos tries to coerce them, as in the case of his most recent interview with Congresswoman Jenniffer González (R), Puerto Rico’s sole non-voting representative in Congress.

Trump administration plans to finally put an end to the ‘catch and release’ of family units (adults and minors) who cross the U.S. border together without authorization is being portrayed in the worst posible light by liberal media outlets, like Los Angeles-based Estrella TV.

In the run-up to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, high-level, pro-Hillary figures at Google, Univision and the Hispanic voter drive organization Voto Latino worked together assiduously on get-out-the-vote (GOTV) initiatives and programming whose clear chief aim was to boost the Hispanic vote for Hillary Clinton.

Friday and Saturday evening news reports on the nation’s Hispanic networks were about everything but good news – specifically information relating to the booming United States economy - as Univision, Estrella TV and Azteca América chose to continue on a Trump-bashing binge while purposely keeping their audiences in the dark about the blockbuster jobs report issued by the U.S. Department of Labor…

Whereas, as we recently noted, Univision embarrassed itself with its horrendously biased coverage of the “monkey it up” flap that kicked off the election of Florida’s next governor, CNN En Español showed how it’s done. Unlike its English-language namesake, CNN’s Spanish-language network is still in the business of hard news.

Corporate America’s howling against the Trump administration’s clampdown on its penchant for importing into the U.S. hundreds of thousands of cheaper IT workers is certainly news, but to only present one side of the issue is certainly not honest journalism. And yet one-sided public relations for these corporate interests is just what Univision’s morning show, Despierta América, did when reporting…

Univision’s news division took the controversy that has engulfed the Florida gubernatorial race and predictably...for lack of a better term...they monkeyed it up.

A new poll stating that even 41% of Democrats oppose abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) has yet to make it to the newscasts of liberal Hispanic media outlets, a segment that typically goes overboard covering anything anti-Trump regarding immigration - separation of families, the border wall, undocumented holding centers, DACA, sanctuary cities, you name it.
