In recent months, it has become quite obvious that the Associated Press has made conscious moves designed to make its output and journalistic operations less transparent. It's also reasonable to ask whether these moves are also motivated by a desire to hide what appears to be a significant shrinkage in its available resources and perhaps even its number of personnel.

MSNBC: 'RepubliKlan' Trump Putting 'Segregationists' on the Courts
On Sunday's AM Joy, one left-wing MSNBC guest portrayed Republicans as a "RepubliKlan party" promoting "white supremacy," and another guest tried to paint one of President Donald Trump's judicial nominees as a "segregationist" as he also smeared former Senator Jesse Helms as "one of the most notorious racists in American politics."

NYT’s Stolberg Hails McCain Whacking Trump, 'Cantankerous' Vs. Obama
New York Times reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg filed a flattering story on Sen. John McCain, “In Twilight of Career, McCain Becomes an Unfettered Voice Against Trumpism.” The text box of Saturday’s story was even more syrupy: “After a cancer diagnosis, an even more vocal defender of national ideals.” So where was this praise from Stolberg when Sen. McCain dared stand in the way of President Obama?
