TNT’s ‘Major Crimes’ Majorly Smears Priests and Catholic Church

When a show begins with a main character looking at Jesus on a crucifix in a Catholic Church while snidely saying to Him, “Thanks for nothing,” you know right away that there is a clear anti-Catholic bias and that things will go downhill from there. In the same program, a cop remarks, “We found Lucas Garza's body at a Catholic church. You know who hangs out at Catholic churches? Priests.”

MSNBC Panel Disturbed By Trump’s ‘Graphic’ Depiction of North Korea

In a well-received speech before South Korean lawmakers on Tuesday, President Trump tried to rally the region and the world against the rogue North Korean regime. The President drew attention to North Korea’s decades of human rights abuses, the hellish living conditions of its people. That’s the truth about life in North Korea, but for MSNBC’s Brian Williams and members of his panel on The 11th…

An ICE Agent's Quest for Justice

"Betrayed." Victor Avila is a survivor. Soft-spoken but iron-willed, he dedicated his life to law enforcement and to his country. Yet, the feds are now fighting tooth and nail to bury the full truth about the 2011 ambush by Los Zetas drug cartel thugs in Mexico that left him gravely wounded and his partner, special agent Jaime Zapata, dead. This week, two of the Mexican gangsters convicted in the…

Ignorance Versus Stupidity

One of the most challenging and important jobs for an economics professor is to teach students how little we know and can possibly know. My longtime friend and colleague Dr. Thomas Sowell says, "It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance." Nobel laureate Friedrich August von Hayek admonished, "The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little…

Let There Be Light

"Let There Be Light" is a fabulous movie that has taken the box office by storm and by surprise, opening in a modest 373 theaters and exploding to more than 650 in just its second week.

USA Airs New Anti-Capitalist, Religion-Slamming Show 'Damnation'

I’m getting this feeling that the USA Network does not care for capitalism, which is weird since they seem perfectly fine with using it to promote their latest show Damnation. While their other anti-capitalist show Mr. Robot takes place relatively in present day, Damnation takes us back to the Great Depression era to once again promote a revolution for the common man against the evils of the…

MSNBC on VA Results: Tonight Is Like It's 'Written by Movie Writers!'

After being relatively well-behaved, MSNBC eventually burst out gloating over the Democratic Party’s tidal wave victories in Virginia as pundits Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell celebrated and particularly over the “stunning” victory of transgender House of Delegates candidate Danica Roem that they deemed a night in which “history is being written by movie writers.”

WashPost Ignores Nasty Democrat Ads: 'Triumph of Decency Over Dread'

The Virginia governor’s race was pretty rough on the TV airwaves, but somehow the Washington Post editorial board wants to pretend that all the nasty commercials were aired by the Republicans. Their Hurray-for-Northam editorial on Tuesday night was headlined “A triumph of decency over dread.” That accurately summarized the first paragraph: Somehow the Post’s promoters of civility completely…

MSNBC's Heilemann Slams 'Giant Scam' NRA, 'Cowardice' of Congress

Appearing as a panel member on Tuesday's Deadline: White House, MSNBC national affairs analyst John Heilemann griped about the National Rifle Association as he accused the gun rights group of acting like a "giant scam" by competing for money with other groups that are "crazier" than they are. He further complained about what he viewed as "cowardice" by members of Congress for not opposing the…

ABC and NYT Reporters Push Misinformation About Texas Shooting

Since Sunday's deadly mass shooting in Texas, the liberal media have been desperate to get the ball rolling on ineffective gun control measures. They’ve become so frantic that they have taken to lying about the current federal gun laws on the books and what actually happened during the shooting. On Tuesday, ABC wanted “extreme vetting” for prospective gun buyers and New York Times reporter…

CNN's Camerota: 'Absurd' for Trump to Repeat 'Tired NRA Talking Point'

On Tuesday -- one day after nearly begging Senator Jeff Flake on New Day for Congress to pass more gun laws -- CNN's Alisyn Camerota continued pushing for more gun control as she complained that President Donald Trump has been repeating "the same old NRA talking point" and "the tired NRA talking point," calling it "absurd," during a discussion of the President's reactions to the Texas mass…

Tucker Carlson: CNN Management Ordered Hosts to Go After Brazile

On his Monday evening Fox News show, Tucker Carlson reported that "top management at CNN directed its employees to undermine (Donna) Brazile’s credibility" after she revealed on Friday that Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign had "rigged" the Democratic Party nominating process in her favor. One would think that CNN's left-leaning, Hillary-loving hosts and guests didn't need to be told, but it…

Lemon: Prayer Didn’t Stop Shootings, But Irrelevant Gun Control Could!

CNN Tonight host Don Lemon went on a nearly-four-minute-long commentary on Monday emphasizing that he’s not “not anti-thoughts and prayers,” but demanded Congress defeat the NRA and pass gun control measures that wouldn’t have stopped Sunday’s Sutherland Springs church shooting.
