On Monday's New Day on CNN, host Alisyn Camerota gave Joe Biden campaign official Kate Bedingfield a sympathetic forum to react to the Donald Trump campaign's charges that Biden's son, Hunter, is linked to corruption in Ukraine, and even invited her to promote the Democratic presidential candidate's gun control plan.

CBS This Morning analyst Jonathan Turley offered an unpopular opinion, one not heard much on the network newscasts: Impeachment might not work out just the way Democrats and liberals in the media think. Turley actually highlighted problems for the Bidens, noting, “One of the only ways to really take down Donald Trump may be to beat him with a lifeless body of Joe Biden.”

Inspired by her war veteran father and the late Michael Brown of Ferguson fame, Berry won the hammer throw and raised her fist on the victory stand during the playing of the national anthem.
