Conservative Filmmakers Vow to Work Around Hollywood System
First-time filmmaker Steve Laffey knew he was in trouble when his film Fixing America got beat out for a festival slot by a documentary chronicling the gender transition of Cher's child, Chaz Bono.
Laffey shared his frustrations and triumphs Friday at the annual Western Conservative Summit in Denver, an event held by the Centennial Institute and Colorado Christian University.

NBC To Air Four-Hour Miniseries About Hillary Clinton
As NewsBusters has been reporting, the media are now in a full court press to get Hillary Clinton elected president in 2016.
Apart from a new biopic set to be released in the middle of the campaign season, it was announced Saturday that NBC has purchased the rights to a four-hour miniseries about the former first lady starring Diane Lane.

Either a deranged fan or a kid with a very bad sense of humor sent a tweet to Katy Perry Saturday that included a picture of him pointing a gun at a little girl with the text, “If you can't babysit me, say bye to my little sister!”
This occurred hours after the popstar appeared on NBC's Tonight Show discussing the crazy tweets she receives.
