Column: The Furious Freakout Over a New Centrist Strategy at CBS News

The aerobic freakout has begun inside the liberal media over the new owners of CBS News appointing “anti-woke” Bari Weiss to the new post of “Editor In Chief.” None of the CBS veterans want a new boss with a new ideology. CBS Rips Comedians Taking Cash for Restrictive Shows in Saudi Arabia

Perhaps the single biggest change new CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss could make to the liberal and perpetually third-place network is simply covering stories their competition (ABC and CBS) avoid and/or simply defend American values. One such example was on Tuesday’s CBS Mornings as senior foreign correspondent Holly Williams blasted A-list comedians taking huge paydays to…

‘Integrity’? Everyone Point & Laugh at MSNBC’s New ‘Core Principles’

Monday marked a major point in MSNBC’s split from parent company Comcast as NBC correspondents not based in Washington D.C. would no longer appear on MSNBC with D.C.-based reporters severing ties on October 20. But the funniest aspect of Monday’s split was the release of a new code of conduct — dubbed “10 core principles” by an executive with MSNBC’s new parent company, Versant — that include…
