South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is rising in the polls and therefore, is starting to face criticism from fellow Democratic presidential contenders who see him as a threat. While most would say this is only natural, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski expressed deep concern on Tuesday that Buttigieg is now receiving criticism. 

Just before the release of the Mueller report Thursday, 2020 Democrat candidate Pete Buttigieg made a stop at MSNBC’s Morning Joe to answer some questions. At one point, co-host Willie Geist actually confronted him on his support for late-term abortions, a position that is so radical most Americans of all stripes don’t support it.

Reacting to the Bernie Sanders town hall on Fox News, Morning Joe praises FNC for opening the door to different points of view. DNC chairman Tom Perez is criticized for prohibiting FNC from conducting a Dem presidential debate. And panel members praise as fair FNC personalities Bret Baier, Martha McCallum, Chris Wallace, Bill Hemmer, and Shep Smith.

Reacting to Rep. Ilhan Omar's description of 9/11 as "some people did some things," Joe Scarborough, on Morning Joe, says, that it's "so important for her to succeed." He and Mika Brzezinski express the wish that instead of tweeting criticism of her statement, Republican congressman Dan Crenshaw had spoken with Omar personally.

Talk about being tone deaf. The Morning Joe crew on Wednesday lamented how Americans can slip into political echo chambers. Listen First Project Founder and CEO Pearce Godwin was on the MSNBC show along with the co-authors of the book I Think You're Wrong (But, I'm Listening) Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers to lament political discourse where people don't really talk to each other.

MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Willie Geist proved that even a broken clock is right twice a day as the morning show welcomed on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. After co-host Mika Brzezinski let Schiff get some free swings in against "handpicked" Attorney General William Barr, Geist asked the questions that Schiff should get every time appears for an interview.

At another Democratic Party gathering over the weekend, former Vice President Joe Biden had another slip of the tongue and possibly revealing his 2020 candidacy, saying he had “the most progressive record for anybody running [for president]." Of course, the liberals at ABC and NBC got excited and hyped it up during their Sunday morning news broadcasts.

Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, best known for not winning an election, announced he was running for president and Vanity Fair's Joe Hagan was on Thursday's installment of MSNBC's Morning Joe to fawn over the newest 2020 Democratic candidate.

On Morning Joe, Donny Deutsch says that the judge who sentenced Paul Manafort seemed to have a "hard-on" against the Mueller probe. Deutsch also wonders out loud whether Trump got a message to the sentencing judge to go easy on Manafort. 

The cast of MSNBC's Morning Joe like to view themselves as the defenders of truth and justice in an age when such ideals are supposedly under attack by President Trump. Any presidential hyperbole is condemned as a lie, while their own hyperbole is speaking truth to power.

MSNBC's Wednesday edition of Morning Joe spent its time ping-ponging back and forth from President Trump's summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen's testimony before the House Oversight Committee. Morning Joe again took to the airwaves Tuesday morning to condemn President Trump's national emergency declaration and Republicans as hypocrites for supporting it.

Appearing on the 9:00 a.m. ET hour of Thursday’s Today show, Sunday Today anchor Willie Geist warned his media colleagues against “rooting for an outcome” in a story as they discussed actor Jussie Smollett being arrested for filing a false police report about a fictitious assault by Trump supporters.   

It look less than twenty minutes for the Tuesday edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe to reach the conclusion that President Trump was just like Hitler. The show then called Republicans hypocrites for blasting Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar's anti-Semitic tweets.
