At least that’s the impression left when you look at the tiny (1 minutes, 52 seconds) amount of time devoted to the former Vice President’s grabbiness in their coverage of his campaign’s official launch.

All three networks led Thursday morning with former Vice President Joe Biden’s long-awaited announcement that he would run for president in 2020. ABC’s Good Morning America focused heavily on Biden’s appeal to Democrats’ “patriotism” and “American values,” with correspondent Terry Moran gushing about Biden taking back this “nationalism” message for “progressives.”
