After news broke Wednesday afternoon that President Trump would be replacing Veteran Affairs Secretary David Shulkin with White House Physician Ronny Jackson, Tuesday’s network morning shows proceeded to dismiss the Navy Rear Admiral as unqualified for the job. The coverage even seemed to criticize Jackson for accurately describing the President’s health during a press conference in January.

On Monday afternoon, NBC national correspondent and sometimes MSNBC anchor Peter Alexander went beyond simply giving a forum to anti-gun activists to promote their views, but he encouraged MSNBC viewers to go to their website and sign a contract promising to vote for anti-gun candidates.

McMaster as National Security Adviser with former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton. On Monday, Deadline: White House absentee host Nicolle Wallace found a sufficiently emotive replacement in Peter Alexander, who managed to suggest within the first four minutes that President Trump’s tweets constituted obstruction of justice.

The liberal media were in sour moods Monday after the White House released its plan to address school safety and gun control. Journalists on the evening newscasts were upset that the plan didn’t have the sweeping and constitutionally-questionable actions they were desperately hoping for, which also had them singing President Trump’s praises just two weeks ago.

Only a couple days after hailing the President for siding with Democrats on gun restrictions, on Friday morning, the broadcast networks feared that Trump may be taking an “about face” on the issue after a “secret” “late-night meeting” with officials from the National Rifle Association. The disappointment of the liberal media was palpable as anchors and correspondents bemoaned the development.
