In an interview earlier this week, an MSNBC host appeared more worried than even Planned Parenthood’s president over the push to defund the abortion giant. On Tuesday, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards appeared on Lawrence O’Donnell’s MSNBC show, The Last Word, to discuss the GOP health care bill and its inability to win enough support in the Senate.

A new MSNBC promo aired during Thursday’s Hardball flaunted the bona fides of the liberal network’s far-left primetime pundits in taking on President Donald Trump, including the hilarious insinuation that they’re attacking him out of “love for the Constitution.”

On Monday’s The Last Word, one would think that Nixon biographer and voracious student of presidential history Elizabeth Drew would be able to speak specifically about the political landscape when asked to tie the (tired) Trump-Watergate knot on MSNBC, and avoid trite partisan talking points. Nevertheless, she persisted.

Fake news pioneer Dan Rather was on Lawrence O’Donnell’s MSNBC show The Last Word Thurday night, and he knew exactly why President Trump disagreed with him on climate policy: it’s because of deep rooted psychological difficulties. 

The proof keeps coming that despite their stated "policy" of not advertising on opinion shows, USAA has advertised on wild-eyed MSNBC programming speculating on how much proof there is that Donald Trump is the "laziest,  most ignorant president in history." According to the Huffington Post on Monday, liberal MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell’s future at the network is “unclear” and a renewal of his contract “doesn’t appear to be on the horizon.” Writer Yashar Ali explained that O’Donnell “has just four weeks left in his contract, and the cable network does not appear to be interested in renewing his deal.”

You know it’s bad when even a MSNBC regular is calling out a MSNBC host’s nutty theories. But that’s what happened on Tuesday as liberal Dana Milbank compared fellow liberal Lawrence O’Donnell to 9/11 truthers, birthers and people who worry about mind-controlling fluoride. 

The establishment press, even as it works to censor known but inconvenient facts and shout down or constantly interrupt guests who attempt to present them, continually lectures new media, particularly center-right media, about the need for evidence before reporting or even discussing anything in print or on the air.
