But with the leak of an e-mail sent by Trump’s lawyer from his Trump Organization account, they leapt on the excuse to return to their preferred topic.

Echoing the slanted coverage of ABC and CBS, on Friday, NBC’s Today show closed out its two-week coverage of the winter Olympics by gushing over openly gay Olympians Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy using their fame to “stand up as advocates” and “voicing their disapproval when Vice President Mike pence was picked to lead the U.S. Olympic delegation.”

Appearing on the 1:00 p.m. ET hour of MSNBC on Monday, New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters proclaimed that Arizona Senator Jeff Flake’s outrageous comparison of President Trump to mass-murdering Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin was actually an attempt by the retiring Republican lawmaker to “save” the GOP.

On Wednesday, MSNBC was doing its part to spread misinformation that bolsters liberal spin on alleged "voter suppression" by Republicans as anchors Craig Melvin and Hallie Jackson -- hosting MSNBC Live at different times of day -- both wrongly claimed that, according to Ohio law, voters can be removed from the voting rolls if they fail to vote in just two consecutive elections. On Thursday's MSNBC Live, host Craig Melvin invited Connecticut Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal to complain about Congress not passing new gun laws since the Sandy Hook school shootings five years ago. The Democratic Senator was like a broken record as he complained that Congress had been "complicit" in shootings, and took aim at the NRA.  

On Wednesday's MSNBC Live with Craig Melvin, MSNBC contributor and historian Jon Meacham made no pretense of being unbiased as he used a Winston Churchill quote to declare Democrat Doug Jones's victory over Roy Moore in Alabama to be "the right thing," and added that "that's probably good news for the country inarguably."

MSNBC suffered a meltdown for the ages on Wednesday afternoon following President Trump’s speech recognizing of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, unleashing guest after guest condemning the “delusional” and “Orwellian” speech that will cause people to die now that America’s credibility has been “shot.”
