Network journalists on Monday night and Tuesday morning hailed the “icon” “rock star” Ruth Bader Ginsburg, insisting that “everybody loves” one of their “favorite women.” Going beyond cheering the recovery the Supreme Court justice from cancer — something every decent person should do — the hosts seemed to assume that most Americans appreciate her hard-left ideology. 

On Monday afternoon, Andrea Mitchell used her MSNBC show to give gun control activist Fred Guttenberg an unchallenged forum to bash Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and advocate for universal background checks. Mitchell went along with him by citing misleading polls alleging near unanimous support for such reforms by the public.

On Monday, all three network morning shows were giddy over two weak challengers against President Trump in the 2020 Republican primary and even hoping for more quixotic candidates to enter the race. NBC and ABC touted ex-Congressman Joe Walsh issuing a “stinging rebuke” to Trump while CBS again urged contributor and former Senator Jeff Flake to jump in the contest.

Tuesday afternoon MSNBC anchors spent their shows fretting that the largest abortion provider in the country that heavily contributes to Democrats was opting out of Title X government funding over an abortion gag order. Hosts Andrea Mitchell, Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle whined that poor “non-political” women who “depended” on the abortion giant would lose access to “critical health care”…

On her MSNBC show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell adopted the unhinged  talking points of 2020 Democratic candidates as she claimed that comments from Citizenship and Immigration Services Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli proved that Trump administration policies were “anti-Hispanic.”

After one of her guests called on congressional Democrats to push an assault weapons ban, Mitchell openly voiced support for the legislation: “Nancy Pelosi should pick that up and run with it.”

CBS and ABC continued ignoring former Vice President Joe Biden’s gaffes he made Thursday while on the campaign trail, one being similar to a racist comment he made in the past about President Obama. NBC’s Today show was the only network to mention this particular gaffe, and they only covered it so they could spin it as President Trump’s fault.

The media, MSNBC in particular, appear desperate to salvage what little remains of their reputation by trying to insist that Robert Mueller's Wednesday testimony was not a complete dud. On her Friday show, Andrea Mitchell tried to argue that despite the lack of any new revelations, Mueller's testimony was "pretty devastating" for Trump.

On MTP Daily Wednesday evening, Trump-deranged host Chuck Todd commiserated with fellow liberal MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell over Robert Mueller’s testimony before Congress.
