Despite the Washington Post making this same blunder yesterday and facing backlash for it, CNN went ahead and labeled Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan as a “far right” extremist Friday morning. New Day host Alisyn Camerota lumped Farrakhan in with alt-right conspiracy theorists who were banned by Facebook this week for their extreme rhetoric.

Poor Alisyn Camerota. She had so been hoping that the Mueller report would bring President Trump crashing down. And now that it seems very unlikely that will happen, Alisyn is deeply bummed. Or, as Camerota put it this morning "they've broken my spirit," adding that the lack of action against President Trump is "disheartening." 

In the aftermath of Tuesday's news that former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor was convicted of killing an unarmed white woman, Justine Damond, CNN has stood out in showing very little interest in contrast with the liberal news network giving substantial coverage in recent months to cops being convicted of killing black suspects.

A CNN New Day panel painted Kamala Harris as the loser in last night's CNN town halls. Three CNN journalists criticized her for not offering "something bold," instead using the "let's have a conversation about that" dodge. Alisyn Camerota got in a zinger at the end, suggesting that if Harris wanted to have a conversation, a town hall just might have been the right place to do it. Ouch!
