Early Friday afternoon, CNN host Wolf Blitzer and rabble-rouser/senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta sought to throw cold water on any questions surrounding the Mueller probe into possible Trump-Russia collusion, denouncing concerns “as a right-wing narrative” promulgated by “conservative media” to influence President Trump.

Republican Congressman Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida was grilled by the tirelessly snarky CNN anchor, Chris Cuomo, in a lengthy 13-minute- “interview” Friday morning on New Day. From the very beginning, Gaetz was attacked, insulted, interrupted and berated by Cuomo over his “partisan” position calling for Mueller to be fired for conflicts of interest on the Russia probe.

President Trump is attacking the media once again, and the New York Times is playing scared, and playing the “dictator” card. The front page of Wednesday’s Times featured Steven Erlanger in Brussels shaming Trump, and suggesting he’s somewhat responsible for foreign dictators acting like foreign dictators, in “Globe’s Autocrats Echo Trump’s ‘Fake News’ Cry.”

While discussing the Russia investigation on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Tuesday, even liberal Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus had to acknowledge that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team had a definite “Democratic tilt.” The admission came in the wake of an FBI agent being removed from the probe due to anti-Trump bias.

During the political panel discussion on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, moderator Chuck Todd fretted that the removal of an FBI agent from Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation for sending anti-Trump text messages might be “bordering into thought police territory.” The group proceeded to worry that the President would use the incident to discredit the probe. 

Saturday, The Washington Post and The New York Times reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller removed a top FBI investigator from the Russia probe, after it was discovered the agent had sent anti-Trump text messages. Not only that, but this same agent also led the Clinton e-mail investigation.  

Early Saturday night, ABC suspended chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross for only four weeks without pay for the latest and most egregious error of the journalist’s career, falsely claiming on Friday that candidate Donald Trump had instructed Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials.
