The only thing CNN Newsroom host Jim Acosta and former nominal Republican strategist Ana Navara know about cancel culture is that Republicans claim to be against it. Their ignorance of the issue was illustrated on Acosta’s Saturday show as the duo accused Florida Republicans of “cancelling” Disney by revoking its special tax status.

On his Wednesday show on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel declared that if you support Florida’s new law that prohibits K-3 discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity, it is because you are dumb. He also rolled out show writer Louis Virtel to call Gov. Ron DeSantis and others everything from “dumb” to “homophobic.”

MSNBC’s Jose Diaz-Balart and Yamiche Alcindor took aim at an Alabama law on Wednesday that would prohibit giving hormone treatment and puberty blockers to those under the age of 19, portraying such things as simple medical care.

The battle over whether parents, or public schools and elites should decide what goes into the minds and souls of students has entered a second stage The Washington Times reports LGBTQ activist groups are complaining about parents who object to children as young as five being taught gender issues and reading books that contain profanities and anti-police messages.

Last week, reporter Christopher Rufo released footage of top Disney employees vowing to inject their radical LGBTQ agenda into children's programming.
