Fresh off the distinction of being honored by Salon as a conservative (read: liberal Republican) must-follow on Twitter, New York Times columnist Bret Stephens declared on Monday’s Hardball that President Trump “reminded me of the Black Knight from the Monty Python skit” in that he’ll continue fighting even though he’ll eventually be left powerless and limbless.

On Wednesday’s Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough continued on his crusade against Trump by calling for Republicans on Capitol Hill to consider taking potentially unconstitutional legislative action that would seriously hinder President Trump’s power to command America’s nuclear defense forces. In so doing, Joe painted Trump as a genocidal maniac on the brink of destroying the whole world.

On Tuesday’s Morning Joe, prominent New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof came on the show to promote his latest piece based on his recent trip to North Korea. The resultant segment’s melding of Kristof’s sentiments reflecting NYT’s pro-communist “Red Century” series combined with Joe Scarborough and his fellow panelists’ tendency to paint Trump as a dictator added up to produce the perfect…

On Monday’s Morning Joe, the panel decided to speculate about Donald Trump deliberately starting an unprovoked nuclear war that would kill millions of Americans, all for the sake of serving the President’s “own political means.” In addition, both the hosts and guest panelists all agreed that Trump and the Republican Party would bear full responsibility for North Korea responding to Trump’s tweets…

In another shameless ‘Trump is a dictator’ segment on Friday’s Morning Joe, the panel were still reveling over the news that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly called President Trump a moron in July. Unable to contain themselves, the gang compared Trump to famously flamboyant French King Louis XIV, Kim Jong-un, Vito Corleone, a “cult figure,” and, to top it all off, a sadistic fetishist.

On Wednesday, I criticized Helen Gao at the New York Times for praising the "emancipation of women" in China under communist tyrant Mao Ze Dong. I also noted that in 2005, Times columnist Nicholas Kristof had engaged in similar "Mao was not all that bad" argumentation while reviewing a book conclusively showing that the death toll under Mao was over 70 million.

On Wednesday’s Morning Joe, the hosts decided to finally admit to their audience that they often cannot understand what President Trump is saying when he makes speeches or answers press queries, thereby perhaps solving the mystery of their bias: they can’t necessarily do the most basic part of their jobs–comprehend basic sentences in English.

On Monday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer worried that President Trump’s new travel restrictions against North Korea “are only serving to further escalate tensions between the U.S. and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.” Correspondent Bill Neely warned: “No letup in the war of words....A show of force, more goading by the President, and a travel ban. It is crisis deepening by the day.”

On Friday’s Morning Joe, the show’s panel reacted to the latest developments in the heated standoff between North Korea and the United States with exasperation, fear, and loathing, but not just at Kim Jong-un. In fact, Trump was the target of the greater wrath and consternation of the panel because he once again said mean things about North Korea’s ‘Dear Leader’ and his devil’s den of a country.

To liberal Hollywood, Trump is the worst thing that could possibly happen. So when North Korean dictator Kim-Jong Un referred to him as a “dotard,” celebrity activists were quick to condone the insult. After all, it’s what they’ve been saying for years.  

The journalists at CBS This Morning, particularly Charlie Rose, are usually rather soft when it comes to high profile leaders, particularly Democrats. It’s not surprising that this rule didn’t hold for Mike Pence on Thursday. Rose grilled the Vice President on Iran and defended Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with the rogue country.
