The journalists at CBS This Morning on Tuesday allowed that it’s possible the Mueller hearings might not be a slam dunk for Democrats after all. Journalist Paula Reid even explained how “Republicans can win” the hearings. As proof, she referenced something that the media have largely ignored: The shocking texts of FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.

During her 10:00 a.m. ET hour on Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson expressed concern that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s upcoming congressional testimony might be “anti-climactic” and possibly “backfire” on Democrats investigating President Trump. In the segment that followed, guests attempted to reassure Jackson that the hearing would pay off.

On Wednesday, all three network morning shows touted news that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller would testify before Congress on July 17th as a win for Democrats who hope to make the event a “blockbuster television event” filled with “high theater.” Reporters seemed giddy as they listed the questions House Democrats would likely ask Mueller about the Russia investigation.

In an embarrassing attempt to push the impeachment narrative, a whole litany of liberal Hollywood celebrities did dramatic readings of the Mueller report. The whole report is 448 pages of drab legal jargon, which is apparently perfect for a theatrical performance. 

Just how demeaning was the treatment of Hope Hicks by the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee and it's chairman, Jerry Nadler? So bad that even a CNN Inside Politics panel hosted by John King criticized those members and Nadler rather harshly especially after the latter referred to Hope Hicks as "Lewandowski" not once, not twice but three times.

Appearing on MSNBC Wednesday morning, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway hammered the liberal cable channel for its blatant biased coverage of the Mueller investigation over the past two years and called out journalists who repeatedly declared Trump guilty of Russian collusion despite the Special Counsel’s report concluding the opposite.
