Appearing on MSNBC Live With Ali Velshi Monday afternoon, New York Times foreign correspondent Rukmini Callimachi slammed the United States as a country that takes action “outside the law,” while praising Iran for supposedly showing “more restraint” amid tensions in the Middle East. 

As the Iranian people rose up to protest the brutal totalitarian regime ruling their country, on Monday, ABC’s chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz appeared on Good Morning America and lamented that the demonstrations were evidence of “Iran’s unity shattered,” only a week after she hailed the “massive and emotional” crowds that turned out to mourn terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani.

In a Sunday report about how MSNBC failed in their duty to report facts to their viewers in the midst of Iran’s missile attack on U.S. bases in Iraq last week, Fox News Channel media reporter and host of MediaBuzz, Howard Kurtz unloaded on the liberal cable news outlet for pushing Iran’s state-media propaganda and scaring the families of service members.

On her MSNBC show, after praising Iran for having "stepped up" and admitting it shot down the airliner, Joy Reid explicitly adopts Iran's Trump-blaming position on the matter. Using the identical term that Iran employed, Reid put the onus for the shootdown on Trump's "adventurism." 

Given the many embarrassments the Iranian regime has suffered over the last week it is hard to see the strike that took out Qasem Soleimani as anything but a win for the United States, but that didn't stop MSNBC Live from declaring Russia to be the big winner, because of course it is.
