Late Monday night, Fox News @ Night host and Supreme Court correspondent Shannon Bream tweeted that she had to flee her live shot from outside the Supreme Court after having “felt threatened” by the “very volatile” “mood” by the far-left protesters having conniptions over President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for the nation’s high Court. 

Moments after Monday night’s White House event concluded in which President Trump announced D.C. Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh as his Supreme Court nominee, ABC News ripped into Kavanaugh and sought to cast doubt on his confirmation as “not a slam dunk” that’ll trigger “a battle royale in the Senate.” 

Clearly, Chris Matthews hasn’t calmed down any bit in the slightest since Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement on June 27. MSNBC’s Hardball host was still raging on Monday night hours ahead of President Trump nominating Kennedy’s replacement, declaring it to be “a political appointment even more than the Supreme Court.”

At the top of her 10:00 a.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Monday, anchor Hallie Jackson worried that President Trump’s upcoming nomination of a Supreme Court justice would provide “kind of a lifeline for Donald Trump, given other news his administration may not want to talk so much about, like the Russia investigation.”

On CNN Newsroom Monday morning, anchor Poppy Harlow barely pressed Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal about liberal, anti-ICE protesters threatening Republican leader Mitch McConnell over the weekend. While Jayapal has been a vocal supporter of abolishing ICE, she didn’t condemn the harassment, and actually seemed to justify it. While speculating on who President Trump would nominate to Supreme Court, on Monday’s Good Morning America, ABC co-host Robin Roberts and correspondent Terry Moran engaged in a brief political strategy session to advise Democrats on the best way to obstruct any pick for the high court.

The Free Press Action Fund, the far-left group that lobbied for the just-passed New Jersey "Civic Info Bill," which authorizes $5 million of taxpayer money for "grants to strengthen local news coverage," is getting an underserved but predictable free pass from the establishment press. Two prominent cheerleaders include the Associated Press and CNN's Brian Stelter.

Our friends at Mediaite flagged down quite the exchange on the Thursday edition of MSNBC’s The Beat in which comedian Sinbad declared that the current incarnation of Donald Trump is “post-dementia Donald Trump who just loves picking fights cause...he’s a lonely man” and one of many “keyboard gangsters” on Twitter who are far less tough in person.

Appearing on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today Friday morning, correspondent Stephanie Gosk ran to the defense of Massachusetts Democratic Senator and possible 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, chastising President Trump for once again mocking the liberal lawmaker for lying about having Native American heritage.
