After the media spent weeks hammering Republicans and the White House over the ongoing government shutdown – while claiming Democrats have “no incentive” to compromise – Politico reported on Wednesday that many freshman House Democrats were increasingly “concerned with the party’s strategy” and even “freaking out” over the possibility of a political backlash.

On Friday's New Day show on CNN, host John Berman and Alabama Republican Congressman Mo Brooks got into a heated debate over whether President Donald Trump should build a border wall as Brooks called out the liberal news network's "propaganda" in trying to downplay the amount of crime committed by illegal immigrants.

The clearest sign of the liberal media’s bias comes when they purposefully choose to exclude information that doesn’t affirm their agenda. Since the government shutdown began in late December, the media have made sure to repeatedly lay the blame solely on President Trump and Republicans in Congress. Not only did the press refuse to place any responsibility for the budget impasse on congressional Democrats, but reporters actually touted the notion that liberal lawmakers had “no incentive” to compromise.

On Wednesday's Tucker Carlson Tonight, veteran Fox News analyst Brit Hume called out journalistic "fact checkers" who assume that liberal opinions on the illegal immigration issue are facts, and therefore that the conservative counter-opinions are claimed by those journalists to be not factual.
