Early in MSNBC’s Tuesday night coverage of the Republican National Convention (RNC), Hardball host Chris Matthews took a brief shot at MSNBC’s parent company Comcast buying them from General Electric (GE) five years ago and admitted the RNC attendees have been “incredibly friendly” but doubted Democrats will do the same at their convention to conservative media members.

After spending the previous hour on Monday smearing Pat Smith’s speech about her son’s murder in Benghazi as having “ruined” the night, an MSNBC panelist questioned why Republicans turn to “fiery, committed” African-Americans at Republican National Conventions (RNC) “to make [their] case” and another compared the Black Lives Matter movement to the Boston Tea Party. 

From the moment that Pat Smith concluded her Monday night speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) about how her son was murdered in the 2012 Benghazi terror attack, MSNBC had their marching orders to annihilate, demean, and smear Smith for her attacks on Hillary Clinton that left the assembled cast of liberals confused at the “gross accusation” that’s “ruined” the entire night.

On Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC, former Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw seemed bewildered and frustrated that race relations in the U.S. haven't improved as much as he hoped they would by now. Brokaw didn't consider his own network's significant and largely dishonest contribution to this situation during the past nearly 11 years.
