Prepare for a major uprising. Early this week, The Nation’s Sarah Posner published a leaked copy of a draft executive order “establishing a government-wide initiative to respect religious freedom.” Some liberals are planning an insurrection if it gets enforced.

Who’s responsible for perpetuating the Culture Wars? A good bet is it’s the one who casts the first Taliban/Al Qaeda/Sharia Law stone. So today, that would be Catherine Rampell, with a droolingly stupid smear of American Christians in the Feb. 3 Washington Post. 

For years, left-wingers would contest my use of the term "open borders lobby" because, they sternly rebuked me, nooooobody in America seriously believes in open borders. Whelp. This weekend, thousands of anti-Trump liberals took to the streets, airports and college campuses chanting "all are welcome" and shrieking "let them in" to protest White House executive orders enforcing our borders.

Just a couple of weeks into his administration, President Trump has used the G-word – something his predecessor did only reluctantly and the media continue to refuse to do. At the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday, Trump mentioned the threat to religious minorities (Christians) under ISIS and in other Muslim majority nations, calling what’s happening “genocide.”   

The sixth episode of HBO’s The Young Pope made another blanket, heretical statement about Catholic priests. Additionally, the episode, which aired January 30, contains two power-hungry speeches given by the Pope (Jude Law) aimed at destroying the Italian Prime Minister and an order of monks. 

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Monday obsessed over Donald Trump’s new order restricting refugees from Muslim-majority countries. Co-host Norah O’Donnell wondered if the administration was being too pro-Christian with this move. Additionally, co-host Charlie Rose used anti-Trump press coverage as justification that the implementation is going badly.

HBO's The Young Pope reached its halfway point on January 29, bursting at the seams with nonstop vileness and slights against the Catholic Church. The show’s fifth episode contained a little bit of everything, with Pope Pius XIII (Jude Law) groping a young woman, calling all priests and nuns “unhappy” and "cowards,” and denying that he’s a priest to a prostitute.  

The CW’s Frequency had quite the storyline in its freshman (potentially final) season about a Catholic serial killer who wraps his victims in Rosary beads, all in the name of Christianity.
