On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough says that just like Jesus in the Elton John "Tower of Babel" song didn't help people in the Tower, Donald Trump won't help people violating the law while protesting his possible arrest in NYC.

On her MSNBC show, Katie Phang, and MSNBC legal analysts Glenn Kirschner and Charles Coleman all opine that Donald Trump's message calling on supporters to "protest, take back the nation" could result in additional criminal charges against him. They ignore that as a senator, Kamala Harris gave a speech entitled, "Taking Back Our Country." She used the phrase at least six times. 

On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski has the producer replay clips of Republican senators apparently criticizing Tucker Carlson's take on the January 6 riot, and urges her viewers to share the clip with their "Fox News-loving family members." But Mika's clips mangled the soundbites. Several Republicans denounced riot denial on both sides of the aisle.

At one time, the "news media" tried to give us something like just-the-facts journalism. But today they give us a liberal narrative and expect us to accept it as "news." Anything less than the liberal narrative is "misleading" or "false."

On her MSNBC show, Katie Phang suggests to Dem Rep. Eric Swalwell that Fox News be subject to "congressional oversight" and "gatekeeping." In response, Swalwell suggests that we "need to take a look at how [Fox News] is being broadcast to our troops," ominously concluding: "So I don't think we are without complete recourse."

Jan. 6 was, according to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, "the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War." Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer explained that the riot of Jan. 6 was a "violent insurrection." And in order to preserve democracy, Schumer stated, Fox News should take Tucker Carlson off the air. What, pray tell, did Carlson do that merited the Senate Majority…

The liberals at PolitiFact whacked Tucker Carlson with a "Pants on Fire" check for his video clips on "QAnon Shaman" Jacob Chansley, suggesting police were like "tour guides." These "independent fact checkers" have never evaluated any Anderson Cooper statement, and Chris Hayes has only a "True" and a "Half True" in the last 12 years.
