On CNN’s Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter dived head first into hysteria by going into a hysterical rant bemoaning that Fox News, Newsmax and the rest of the “MAGA media” probably won’t be covering the partisan primetime January 6 committee hearings on Thursday evening. 

On Thursday’s installment of MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, PBS’s Washington Week moderator, and NBC Washington correspondent Yamiche Alcindor as well as fake Republican and editor at large of The Bulwark Charlie Sykes continued their tradition of blaming everything they don’t like about our politics on the January 6 riots at the Capitol. 

On Tiffany Cross's MSNBC show, regular guest Elie Mystal of The Nation says he's a "fan" of the idea of Nancy Pelosi using the alleged "inherent" powers of Congress to have the Sergeant at Arms "physically abscond" Republicans who have not responded to subpoenas from the January 6th committee, and bring them to her "basement."

So the week ends with this headline from The Washington Post: "Jan. 6 committee sets up historic showdown." Notice anything curious here? Or should I say curiously missing? Sunday's Washington Post looked like a partisan rag with a collection of hit pieces (and a cartoon) on McCarthy and his "humiliating pilgrimage" to Mar-a-Lago to make nice with the former president after the GOP anger subsided.
