The September 4 episode of TBS’s People of Earth “Bee Kind,” revisited their sacrilegious storyline of a Catholic priest having an affair with a married woman, and this time, they took the story to even more offensive heights.

Let’s offer some congratulations to AMC’s Preacher for giving me the fastest, most efficient subject for an article yet. The latest episode featured a subject so embarrassingly crass that I’m shocked I got through the entire episode without slamming my head against a wall. It only takes three simple words: Jesus having sex.

Oprah’s OWN Network premiered the latest season of its mega-church drama Greenleaf, which centers around Calvary World Ministries and the Greenleaf family who runs it, on Tuesday, August 15. The show picked back up where it left off…with a newly-divorced Christian father struggling with his gay desires.

It’s no secret that Hollywood takes joy in bashing Christianity. Liberal TV loves to bash Christianity any opportunity it gets and Monday night’s episode of TBS’s People of Earth did not disappoint. The episode, titled “Gerry’s Return,” portrayed the relationship between a married woman and a priest that became sexual at the end of last season. Looks like religious faith continues to be the punching bag of Spike’s The Mist. Specifically one of the Christian denomination because that’s the only one hip to desecrate these days. But never before have I seen faith denounced in a way that feels so forced and makes so little sense…which, come to think of it, makes it perfect for this show.

TBS premiered their new sitcom The Guest Book on Thursday night and, in Story Two, portrayed two Christian characters as people willing to assault an atheist in order to force an unwanted baptism upon her. 

LGBTQ activist Tim Gill wants to “punish the wicked” who oppose gay marriage. And part of his agenda includes giving $5.25 million to 25 media groups between 2003 and 2015. Gill told Rolling Stone “we’re going to punish the wicked” on the “religious right” as part of a shift to focus on nondiscrimination. According to Rolling Stone, Gill is “the nation’s most powerful force for LGBTQ rights.”

There’s a new Star Trek series in which it is forbidden for actors or writers to reference God (ironic, considering the only explanation for yet another Star Trek spinoff is punishment for man’s innate sinfulness.)

Well, I’ll say this about Spike’s The Mist, I was only half-right about my recent prediction. Instead of a molesting priest, we get the fanatic of a violent one threatening heretics. I would say that’s a pleasant surprise, but what we get is hardly a pleasant substitute. Come to think of it, it’s not even a surprise.

Washington Post blogger Eugene Volokh reported trouble in Public Broadcasting Land on Monday night. Berkeley-based KPFA, the original station that started the radical-left Pacifica chain of public radio stations, abruptly canceled their August 9 event with harshly atheist author Richard Dawkins over his criticism of Islam as "the most evil religion on the planet."

Season two of AMC’s Preacher has been relatively quiet if only for the fact that violence and crude behavior seem to be a weekly occurrence on the show. But now, the most recent episode gives us a reminder of about how staunchly anti-religious it can be by going after the Good Book itself: the Bible. Even in physical form, the Bible can’t catch a break.

Yet another media mogul has slammed religious freedom group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) as an “anti-LGBTQ hate group” as it defends a Christian baker who refused to sell a cake for a gay couple’s wedding. This time, it was late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert.
