On Time Magazine’s Top 10 List: Angie Jackson, Live-Tweeting Abortio

December 23rd, 2010 9:29 AM
The mother who live tweeted her abortion earlier this year, Angie Jackson, has had her 15 minutes of fame extended, making #6 on Time Magazine's Top 10 Tweets for 2010. Seems to me Time used the most unflattering screen shot of Jackson it could find from her announcement video, and it also painted an unpleasant portrait of her overall. Read Time's blurb on Jackson after the jump....

ABC: Catholic Bishop Excommunicated 'Saintly' Nun Who Supported Aborti

December 22nd, 2010 9:32 PM
ABC's Dan Harris gave a slanted report on Wednesday's GMA about the Catholic bishop of Phoenix, Arizona stripping a hospital there of its Catholic status: "This is a story that involves a nun, described as saintly; a Catholic bishop; a world-class hospital; and a controversy now being discussed across the country." Harris unnecessarily introduced the priestly sex scandal into his report, and…

Liberals Outraged by Labeling Bias, But Only If It Involves Fox

December 9th, 2010 3:41 PM
The latest meme among the legions of lefty Fox-haters is that FNC "distorted" or "skewed" the ObamaCare debate by instructing employees to call the "public option" the "government option" or some variation of that. The horror! Of course none of the Fox-haters uttered a word of criticism when National Public Radio officially instructed employees to drop the "pro-life" and "pro-choice" labels…

MSNBC's Mitchell Touts Planned Parenthood Poll Claiming Palin Not Trus

December 6th, 2010 4:10 PM
During Tuesday's 1PM ET hour on MSNBC, anchor Andrea Mitchell highlighted a new poll from the left-wing pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood that claimed that voters do not trust Sarah Palin on so-called "women's health issues": "A new poll suggests that she may have a tough time getting voters to trust her on at least one front....54% of registered voters do not trust Palin on those issues…

Lefty Voices in 'On Faith' Choir: Christmas 'Tough Time' for Abortion

December 6th, 2010 3:28 PM
The Christmas season is "a tough time for supporters of abortion rights who have just as much excitement and take just as much joy in expecting a baby in their family as does everyone else, but end up feeling defensive and grumpy about the baby Jesus being hijacked for political gain." That's how former Catholics for Choice president Frances Kissling lamented the enthusiastic response of pro-…

Partial-birth Abortionist Opens Shop in D.C. Area, WaPo Buries Story o

December 1st, 2010 12:08 PM
Three weeks ago, the Washington Post reported on the front page of its November 10 Metro section that a "Nebraska doctor who is one of the few in the country to perform abortions late in a pregnancy said Wednesday that he would open new clinics in Iowa and the Washington area." At the time, Carhart refused to disclose where he would open his D.C.-area clinic, but said that it would be in a…

Husband Says Abortion Internet Vote a Hoax, Wife Says No; She Was Fire

November 24th, 2010 10:51 AM
Read my previous post here. Well, no wonder the true intentions of the couple putting their preborn baby's life up for a vote were difficult to decipher. Turns out Pete Arnold is pro-life and his wife Alisha is pro-abortion. (Baby boy "Wiggles" is pictured above, waving at the camera at his 17-wk check-up earlier this week.) First, his side of the story. CNN reported yesterday Pete…

NPR's Dirty Campaigners of the Week: 'Conservative Bloggers' Push 'Bol

November 21st, 2010 7:48 AM
The U.S. Catholic bishops' conference disappointed liberals this week by choosing a leader who agreed with the bishops' campaign this year against pro-abortion provisions in ObamaCare. On Tuesday night's All Things Considered, NPR religion reporter Barbara Bradley Hagerty reported the expected moderate winner was apparently smeared by “conservative Catholic bloggers” for being too close to the…

About That Couple Taking Votes Whether to Abort

November 18th, 2010 11:11 PM
I got a heads up about the blog BirthorNot.com about a month ago. A pregnant married couple is taking votes whether to abort their baby boy or carry him to term. The last day of the pregnancy they say they can  legally abort in their home state of Minnesota is December 9, a day before the baby is 20 weeks old. And, they say, they will go however the final vote tally goes. Although the…

WaPo Honors Social Liberal Chris Matthews on Page One as 'Devoutly Cat

November 16th, 2010 8:15 AM
MSNBC's Chris Matthews is a devout liberal, including on contentious social issues like abortion and homosexuality. But on the front page of Tuesday's Washington Post, religion reporter Michelle Boorstein began a story on Archbishop Donald Wuerl's elevation to Cardinal at the Vatican like this: The archbishop's two brothers will be there. So will a rabbi he knows from Pittsburgh, the D.C.…

Media Promote Pro-Abortion View Covering Popular Twitter Topic

November 9th, 2010 9:45 AM
In the wake of a huge GOP midterm victory, pro-abortion women actively took to the social website Twitter to reject the incoming wave of pro-life candidates. Those who have had abortions spoke out on Twitter, proudly tweeting “#ihadanabortion.” From the Chicago Sun-Times, to The Washington Post, the media obliged these women and their left-wing social agenda by complaining conservatives wish to…

Huffington Post Video Mocking GOP Women Contains Sexually Explicit Lyr

November 2nd, 2010 4:46 PM
There is a fine line between tasteful political comedy and crossing-the-line crudeness, and the Huffington Post’s new song “My Girl's A Republican” just leaped over that line. With lyrics such as “Dick Nixon sucking lips” and “she made her oil money last, and now I’m tapping it,” even the most liberal among us could agree that the attack on Republican women is downright revolting. Hailed as…

Late-Term Forced Abortions Exposed on Chinese 'Twitter

November 2nd, 2010 10:38 AM
Last year when Michael Jackson died, average people all over the world knew it within minutes, thanks in part to advances in social media technology such as Facebook and Twitter that make information sharing instantaneous. But maybe these new media have a role in getting out actually important, yet under-reported stories. That may be the case with the horror of violent forced abortions in China…

Media Help Flailing Liberals Spread Message on Abortion, Gay Rights

October 29th, 2010 1:51 PM
It’s no secret that the nation is preparing for a GOP tidal wave with significant conservative victories in the Senate and House next Tuesday. The election has essentially focused on domestic economic policy. Conservative candidates have been gaining ground with a popular job growth/lower taxes/revive the economy mantra. But desperate liberal Democrats have suddenly shifted the focus from the…
