ABC senior anchor George Stephanopoulos has a habit of hectoring Republicans into answering whether they will vote for Donald Trump if he’s the 2024 GOP nominee, despite pending criminal charges against him. He tried that against former RNC chair Reince Priebus, and got promptly shut down.

On her MSNBC show, Katie Phang and her guest Molly Jong-Fast of Vanity Fair agree that the MSM should largely ignore polls and tell the public about the "stakes" of the election for democracy, including the fact that without democracy [i.e., if Trump wins,] "there will be no more journalism."

The event of this past week that drew a great deal of attention was Fox’s Sean Hannity hosting a debate between the Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis and California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom.
