An easy way to discover how the media favor Democrats is from the treatment of embarrassing gaffes by Senators Feinstein and Fetterman. The same media outlets that constantly questioned Donald Trump's mental fitness are acting very gentle and protective around their favorite partisans.
Feinstein alarmed the Los Angeles Times when they asked about her months-long absence and she replied “No, I haven’t been gone....I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working....I've been voting. Please. You either know or don’t know.” The media coverage was hotter and heavier during her absence, because it prevented Democrats from confirming judges. Now, the press interest has diminished.
At a Senate Banking Committee hearing on Silicon Valley Bank going toes up, Fetterman asked: "Isn’t it appropriate that this kind of control should be more stricter to prevent this kind of thing from going, or should we go on start bailing and sailing whoever bank regardless of how … their conduct is?" He joked about Republicans making food stamp (SNAP) recipients work for their benefits. "Because they seem more preoccupied when then SNAP requirements for works for hungry people but not about protecting the taxpapers (sic) that will bail no matter whatever does about a bank to crash it."
