Geraldo: Time to Take God Out of St. Patrick's Day

This is a little late, but still wacky. On his radio show March 15, Fox News host Geraldo Rivera thinks the Irish really ought to take God out of Saint Patrick's Day. That's what he said. He's one of the many people at Fox who wave the rainbow LGBT/gay-Left flag.

"Having been a participant in plenty of St. Patrick's Day celebrations, I just have to say that one of the last things on my mind [was] to venerate St. Patrick. God bless him and all he did, [but] I just don't believe the celebration, I think it's largely a secular celebration," he argued. "More like Mardi Gras, isn't it?" Taking a more "inclusive" line would also help Catholicism, he lectured:

RIVERA: I just think that on the occasion of the election of a new pope, this is exactly the time when all, whether it's the Hibernians or anyone else, this is the time for inclusion, if you want Catholicism to thrive, rather than exclusion. Just sayin'."

Also on March 15, and indicative of the extreme to which pro-gay sentiment will go, comedian John Fugelsang pandered to openly gay Stephanie Miller by suggesting he's really hoping his son is homosexual:

STEPHANIE MILLER: By the way you’re son had a birthday. He’s one, I heard.

JOHN FUGELSANG: He’s one years old, yeah yeah. We’re hoping he comes out as gay. We’re really hoping.

STEPHANIE MILLER: Yeah I know. You said that before he was born, you said that we don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl as long as he gay.

JOHN FUGELSANG: As long as he gay, yeah. I’m trying to make sure his first words are "Bitch, please!" I’m really trying.

STEPHANIE MILLER: Ha ha ha ha!
