In the wake of an unhinged liberal trying to murder conservative congressmen, Hollywood is somehow smearing the National Rifle Association as violent “terrorists.” A famous director and actor both trashed the organization after it forcefully denounced the left. Regarding a Dana Loesch-narrated NRA video, Avengers director Joss Whedon sneered, “A terrorist recruitment video the whole FAMILY can watch!”
TV and movie star Michael Ian Black excoriated, “At some point, it might be worth discussing whether or not the NRA is a terrorist organization.” How often do these celebrities lash out at actual terrorist groups like ISIS?
Rolling Stone journalist Jesse Berney snarled, “Jesus Christ, I think the NRA just told conservatives to blow my head off."
What got celebrities and the liberal media so angry? In the video, Loesch calls out the left: “They use their media to assassinate real news. They use their schools to teach children that their president is another Hitler. They use their movie stars and singers and comedy shows and award shows to repeat their narrative over and over again.”
Considering the violent attack on Republican Congressmen on June 21, maybe Hollywood shouldn’t compare the NRA to terrorists. Just a thought.
