In response to Kirk Cameron's comments regarding homosexuality, a number of former childhood celebrities have joined up with the comedy website "Funny or Die" to attack him.
Their mock group is called "Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron," and if you sound out the acronym, it's slang for male genitalia (video follows with transcribed lowlights and commentary, vulgarity warning):
The video begins with Maureen Flanigan of Out of this World saying, "I am a cock."
Others from your favorite television hits of the '80s and '90s join in to "raise awareness about a serious threat to our civil rights - Kirk Cameron's stupid opinions."
"As former child stars ourselves, we don't want to be associated with that horse s--t," said The Hogan Family star Jeremy Licht.
Eventually, the video degrades into the former stars doing childish finger gestures depicting sexual acts leading to a montage of them saying, "Lesbian, gay, bi-, and transgender people - you know, the ones who aren't criminals - are not a threat to you. All they want is the inalienable right of every human being to fellate and cunniling in peace. And really, isn't that what we all want?"
The video ends with a montage of them all saying, "I'm a cock" with the last one adding, "And Kirk - you're just a dick" as a subtitle appears on the screen reading, "CCOKC: Getting All Up In Kirk Cameron's Ass."
Now, I myself have found many of the FOD videos to be hysterical, but this one seemed rather juvenile.
Maybe childhood celebrities never really grow up.
