Fake Republican Ana Navarro once again made a fool out of herself on ABC’s The View. During Thursday’s episode she lost it over a new “nickname” given to President Trump by leftists in the financial industry: TACO or Trump always chickens out. This left her howling with laughter and shouting “taco” like she was a broken record.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg, who childishly refused to say Trump’s name and instead called him “you-know who,” was smitten with the new nickname and thought about adopting it. “I just want to say that I think that's better -- the new acronym is better than my ‘you-know-who.’ I think I'm going to start using that,” she proclaimed near the top of the show.
“Taco, taco, taco, taco, taco, taco, taco, taco!” Navarro shrieked. “As if I needed another reason to love tacos. And I mean, you know, the karma here. Right? The karma, because the attacks on Mexico have been endless.”
Cheering: “And also and this banning of anybody from the Oval Office that calls it the ‘Gulf of Mexico,’ so it's like tacos strike back! Yes!”
Navarro took over the floor and claimed Trump was getting set “to ban Taco Tuesday any moment now.” But her spirits were high as she explained why she felt the joke was so good:
But, you know, for a nickname to be effective, it's got to be truth to it, which this has. I mean, his trade policy is all over the place. It's not written in stone. It's like written on invisible ink. And it's got to get under the person's skin, which it clearly did. And when it's funny, when they first -- when our audience first heard it, everybody burst out in laughter because it's true and funny and gets under his skin.
Of course, Navarro wouldn’t have a clue about how high-level diplomatic negotiations worked because she’s never worked for a successful presidential campaign.
She followed up by trying to get the studio audience to chant with her: “Taco, taco, taco, taco, taco, taco!”
Through the laughter, Goldberg adding: “I don't know why it tickles me. It really does, though. I just think -- I know you don't like this.”
Below is mashup of all of Navarro's "taco" hype. Enjoy.
