Like a psychopath, The View’s Joy Behar had no issue lying with impunity to the ABC audience when she claimed on Friday’s episode that the media was harsher on President Biden’s health than they were on President Trump’s. Obviously, the liberal media did everything in their power to obfuscate Biden’s cognitive decline until it was to exposed for them to ignore anymore; and being the good Democratic Party sycophants that they were, The View cast played their role to the bitter end and beyond.
Behar’s ridiculous attempt at rewriting history came amid their broader conversation about Senator Mitch McConnell’s return to the Senate and his health problems, for which she got squawks of agreement from other cast members:
BEHAR: But the media does not cover Trump the way they covered Joe Biden.
NAVARRO: Oh, no. Absolutely.
The comment did get pushback from co-host Sara Haines, but not with the facts of how the media was trying to deceive the American public. Instead, she suggested that the media focused on Biden because the decline was more pronounced and that Trump was already starting from the deteriorated level:
HAINES: The problem was there was contrast, though, Joy. Trump has always sounded like this. So the -
NAVARRO: No, no, no, no.
HAINES: He moves all over -- you don't remember what the original question was. But Joe Biden once sounded normal. Like, he actually had a contrast.
“Sara, he falls asleep in basketball games! He falls asleep behind the Oval Office! His ankles are the size of cacti! His hands are purple!” co-host Ana Navarro shouted.
Token Never-Trump Republican Alyssa Farah Griffin did counter Behar with: “I think the media does cover that Trump is declining. I feel like you see that.”

Let’s take a trip down memory lane to see how The View worked diligently to cover for their party’s president and attack any who dared to mention the truth.
In 2022, following Biden’s infamous “where’s Jackie” moment when he called out for Congresswoman Jackie Walorski who died weeks earlier, Behar whined that “right-wing” media that “has weaponized his gaffes!” “I mean, they have weaponized the gaffes, They’ve said that he’s senile,” she raged.
Haines also spoke out in Biden’s defense claiming he had a “brain fart” or “mommy brain” moment and tried to blame Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for how badly it went over.
Farah Griffin did her part too. She insisted Biden’s constant mental slips weren’t a cause for concern but were instead “endearing.” She too thought Jean-Pierre was the problem, arguing, “The cover-up was worse than the crime.”
In 2023, Hostin denounced any talk or question of Biden’s cognitive status as “terrible ageism” and “completely crass.”
Additionally, while The View was parroting the Biden administration’s propaganda about “cheap fakes,” they were pumping out highly edited videos of Trump to make him look “senile” and “crazy.”
Their defenses of Biden’s failing mental state got increasingly morbid over time as the situation got more desperate.
Twice in 2023, Behar proclaimed she’d “rather have Joe Biden drooling than any Republican,” and that America would be better off if Biden got reelected and then “dies in office.” Similarly in 2025, Navarro declared she “would prefer Joe Biden in a coma over Trump.”
The View didn’t much like it when CNN’s Jake Tapper published his self-enriching book about how the media took part in covering up Biden’s cognitive decline. “Why is this important to know now?!” shouted moderator Whoopi Goldberg. “Because it just seems to me, you know, we got lot of stuff to be concerned about at the moment.”
“When is Jake Tapper going to write a book about the cognitive decline of the person in charge right now?!” Behar shrieked while waving her arms in the air. They refused to have Tapper on the show.
Behar’s mendacity to lie so much to their audience, to manipulate them is truly craven.
