Last week, NewsBusters reported on how CNN’s Chris Cuomo threatened the lives of GOP lawmakers in Congress when he said “they are going to lose way more than this election,” and then doubled down the following night. Well, Cuomo kicked off a new week on Monday by admitted that he was “targeting” those lawmakers in that way. He then expanded that his threats to include Dr. Scott Atlas of the coronavirus task force with the warning of an “old school” visit.
As NewsBusters has repeatedly pointed out, Cuomo has had an affinity for the leftist, domestic terrorist group known as Antifa, and a penchant for leaning on physical violence against his opponents. So, when he makes threats, they should be taken with some seriousness despite his ridiculousness.
After a Freudian slip at the top of the show where he admitted “we do the job based on who's in power,” Cuomo admitted to his dark desire. “Yeah. You are being targeted. But not because you're victims. Because you're victimizing the rest of us. And people must remember and hold you to account,” he sneered.
The brother of New York's Democratic governor continued to stoke hatred of Republicans by suggesting they were killing people and not doing anything to help people suffering from economic pain from the pandemic:
You know this time is supposed to be for Biden to get up to speed. And you know the need for that is unique right now. And, yet, the Trumpers are keeping Biden back with so many in this country literally dying from a lack of leadership.
And by the way, while they're saying let the process play out, they're not doing anything with their own legislative process to give you relief, are they? Why not? Remember what they did for Trump and remember what they didn’t do for you.
In reality, it was Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who had been opposed to any compromise on a relief bill for months.
Later on in his roid rage, the CNN gorilla rhetorically beat his chest as he flipped out about Dr. Atlas telling people to resist abusive restrictions. “Are you kidding me? Shame on you. What kind of doctor would tell people to rise up and resist the only kind of prophylaxis that could help them? What the hell is the matter with this person,” he screamed.
He addded: “Rise up? You rise up and do your job or get the hell out!”
After playing a clip of Atlas on the Fox News Channel’s The Story with Martha MacCallum, Cuomo attacked him for going on “state news” and threatened him with an “old school” visit when he least expected it:
But you know what? We may go back to old school and maybe the questions will come find you. Maybe when you’re living your life nice and easy, cause you don't have the concerns that these same people that you’re telling to rise up, that they have.
“Maybe the questions will come and find you because you have to answer for that kind of guidance,” he threatened again.

CHRIS CUOMO: So, how do Republicans in Washington justify saying, oh, they're questions? Has anyone given you proof to back them up? None. Well, we should let the process play out.
First, they want to play victim. When you say remember them, I say remember them. They say, “Oh, he's targeting us.” Yeah. You are being targeted. But not because you're victims. Because you're victimizing the rest of us. And people must remember and hold you to account. When Trump is no longer there to somehow, in your perverse reality, spread the sunshine on you.

CUOMO: Dr. Atlas, okay, a guy with no pandemic experience. He literally would know more if he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. He's saying, “hey, you in Michigan, these measures to help try to control the spread, fight back.” Are you kidding me? Shame on you. What kind of doctor would tell people to rise up and resist the only kind of prophylaxis that could help them? What the hell is the matter with this person?
Rise up? You rise up and do your job or get the hell out. How could you give this kind of advice? Of course Fauci was being measured. He says, “I don't agree with his position.” This isn't Fauci's fight. The science is obvious. This is about Trump and the Trumpers. He's going to have his main health guy stand up and say, fight back against the regulations that keep you safe? Listen to him. I'm not making it up.
DR. SCOTT ATLAS: And this kind of isolation is one of the unspoken tragedies of the elderly, who are now being told don't see your family at Thanksgiving. For many people, this is their final Thanksgiving, believe it or not. What are we doing here?
CUOMO: What the hell are you doing here? Yeah, it could be their last Thanksgiving if you expose them to people who aren't wearing masks, who weren't socially distancing, who haven't been doing so who haven't been tested, because they somehow think they don’t want to get in on the con of COVID.
You know, you want to hide on state news, you do it. But some day, you are going to have to deal with real questions. And either you are going to come on a show or you’re going to do it. But you know what? We may go back to old school and maybe the questions will come find you. Maybe when you’re living your life nice and easy, cause you don't have the concerns that these same people that you’re telling to rise up, that they have. Maybe the questions will come and find you because you have to answer for that kind of guidance. Let alone as a doctor. Do no harm. Invite grandma. This could be her last Thanksgiving? Yeah, if you invite her to a place where she can get sick and die!
