Avengers director Joss Whedon, who has has been praised for empowering women on film, used his bully pulpit to demean the President’s daughter this week, proving once again that feminism only cares about liberal women.
Whedon, best known for television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and movies like The Avengers, seems to have gone off the deep end since the election. A little over a week ago he tweeted that he wanted Paul Ryan “f***ed by a rhino;” this week, he went after Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner in a crass tweet.

A week after the election, Whedon also demanded Trump be stopped from becoming President, apparently not realizing that’s what the election was for.
Whedon’s political activism isn’t limited to Twitter. The popular director appeared on MSNBC to bash Trump as a “scary monster;” created a Hillary Clinton super PAC and donated one million dollars to her campaign; and he also bashed Romney in a pro-Obama ad in 2012.
