MSNBC: GOP Willing to Remove Black Men from Office to Keep Their Guns

April 13th, 2023 12:22 AM

On Wednesday night, The Grio's April Ryan spent her time on MSNBC's The 11th Hour gloating and hurling allegations of racism at Republicans in the Tennesee legislature because they held two of the three Democrat insurrectionists accountable for stirring up a mob on the House floor. Leftists in the media like Ryan apparently believe insurrections are a good thing so long as it's in pursuit of their agenda. If you try to hold them accountable, they cry racism.

Host and MSNBC's resident dunce Stephanie Ruhle teed up Ryan by proclaiming "Both of these then-expelled, now soon to be reinstated, lawmakers have a huge national platform." Ruhle then asked "Did this whole thing completely backfire on Republicans? Did they not know how the rules even worked?"

"Yeah, it completely backfired," Ryan agreed before smearing Republicans as racist: "They wanted their guns by any means necessary, even if it meant expelling two young African Americans who are fighting for the right for children to be able to live and learn in school. And just people to be able to live."

Proving that in America, the demand for racism is greater than the supply, Ryan had to call for a new civil rights movement for no reason at all: "This is now the new civil rights moment."

According to Ryan, "Racism reared its ugly head in this, and because it was so blatant and overt, they had to, the Republican legislature had to reinstate them."

Ryan never explained how removing two out-of-line Democrat legislators for breaking the rules is racist and is a reason for another "civil rights movement."

This is the kind of commentary you get on MSNBC. Everything is racist. But if everything is racist, then nothing is racist.

MSNBC's latest racially divisive commentary was made possible by Progressive. Their information is linked.

STEPHANIE RUHLE: Both of these then-expelled, now soon to be reinstated, lawmakers have a huge national platform.

APRIL RYAN: Yes.

RUHLE: Did this whole thing completely backfire on Republicans? Did they not know how the rules even worked?

RYAN: Yeah, it completely backfired. They led with their head and the heart, as a man thinketh, so is he, right? They wanted their guns by any means necessary, even if it meant expelling two young African Americans who are fighting for the right for children to be able to live and learn in school. And just people to be able to live.

But at the end of the day, Stephanie, you have to understand that this is now the new civil rights moment, racism reared its ugly head in this and because it was so blatant and overt, they had to, the Republican legislature had to reinstate them, because of the will of the people, not just in Tennessee, but globally. They looked terribly in this moment but at the end of the day, Tennessee is a state that has four gun manufacturers.

And it's such a passionate issue for the state, the Volunteer State, that has one of the worst gun laws on the books, that now they are moving for background checks, et cetera, in a month's time. There has been such passion on this. They've been moved to do something in a month's time even if it may be temporary, that last as long as the governor, the current governor is in office but they are so moved in this moment of civil rights, that met with gun rights and gun control.
