As is often the case, the Elitist Media Evening News choose to omit significant stories while stuffing their newscasts with anti-news. Tonight was not the exception, as several stories got kicked to the curb.
We begin with illegal voting- that thing that everyone keeps saying never happens yet continues to happen. None of the evening broadcast newscasts covered the story, but Newsmax did. Below is that report:

TRACY SABOL: And right now, the Justice Department announcing a new round of election crime charges, just three weeks before the midterms. 16 people across the country, including an illegal migrant, are accused of offenses ranging from noncitizen voting to casting ballots more than once and attempting to vote on behalf of the dead. National correspondent Logan Ratick is live for us with more on these cases. Logan.
LOGAN RATICK: Yeah, among the 16 people charged, Tracy, American citizens, you got lawful permanent residents and also illegal aliens casting ballots in both red and blue states in the 2024 election. In New Mexico, Patrick Perea is accused of trying to cast his deceased wife's absentee ballot in the November 2024 general election. In Alabama, Forrest Scott Woody- charged with voting twice in the same election, once in Alabama and once in North Carolina. In Pennsylvania, an illegal alien from France and three lawful permanent residents from Pakistan and Portugal are charged with voting in the 2024 election.
In Missouri, a Cuban national who is a lawful permanent resident is accused of claiming U.S. citizenship on registration forms dating back to 2004 and voting in roughly 15 elections over two decades, most recently in 2024. Similar charges were filed in Alabama, Ohio, Idaho, New Jersey, Hawaii and Kentucky. They include allegations that individuals registered and voted while not being U.S. citizens, sometimes over multiple election cycles. Now, in one Ohio case, a Filipino national allegedly told investigators she was advised that she could vote despite not being a citizen. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin says there are many more cases like these being investigated.
MARKWAYNE MULLIN (ON CNN): Right now, we have 1600 open cases of fraudulent activity. We've already made 215 arrests, and we have 300,000 possible cases that we're looking into. (VIDEO SWIPE) We're doing our part to make sure that the only people that choose our American leaders are American citizens that are legally able to vote.
RATICK: So you hear from Secretary Mullin, more charges likely coming in the days and weeks ahead. But to further crack down on voter fraud, the DoJ is sending 1000 election monitors to polling locations across several states for the November midterms. And, Tracy, there are just a few weeks away.

What is illegal voting if not a direct assault on democracy? Yet the Defenders of Democracy™ remain silent on the issue of illegal voting, choosing instead to enable the conditions that foster illegal voting, such as lax immigration enforcement (or none at all). The Department of Justice announces these arrests on what seems to be a weekly basis, and yet the networks remain mum.
What kind of news did we get since the arrests, you might ask yourselves? Outstanding question. Over the past couple of days, we got full reports on Selma Blair’s meltdown aboard a Delta flight. That’s day of, and an update the next day. On ABC, CBS, and NBC. ABC covered Kelly Clarkson’s ongoing beef with a Brooklyn hipster shop and Diddy’s head injury. CBS went with a giant pumpkin, ABC and NBC went with inflatable pumpkins rolling down the steer due to wind. Hard-hitting stuff all around.
There is also the release of the NYPD detective stabbed by illegal alien gangbangers. Per CBS News:
An off-duty NYPD detective who was stabbed in the Bronx earlier this month spoke out Tuesday, expressing gratitude to the people who helped save his life. Det. Jose Mercedes was stabbed repeatedly on Oct. 2 on East 206th Street and Rochambeau Avenue.
Police say a gold chain that was a gift from his mother may have been the target of a robbery.
To be clear, a law enforcement officer was almost stabbed to death over a necklace by two criminal illegal aliens. In a cruel twist, the law enforcement officer is also of immigrant origins. It is not lost upon us that these stories tend to disappear from the face of the Earth once they turn inconvenient. If illegal aliens shot by ICE turn out to be criminals, that’s it. It is newsworthy to note that the law enforcement officer walked out of the hospital- as opposed to some of the slop run at the networks.
Remember: time spent reporting on giant pumpkins is time not spent covering the real news of the day. News gives way to anti-news, and substance gives way to slop. Bias by omission remains the most insidious of all.
