Far-Left CNN Endorses BLM Radicalism, Reparations

July 8th, 2020 7:04 PM

On Wednesday morning’s CNN Newsroom, co-host Poppy Harlow brought on Democratic Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer to discuss the investigation of the killing of Breonna Taylor and at first, Harlow grilled Fischer over the investigation, but then softened when he endorsed parts of the Black Lives Matter radical agenda. Harlow revealed herself to not just be a Democrat, but a radical leftist by expressing support for the group’s agenda.

Harlow introduced BLM’s radical proposals to Fischer, who was just named President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and suggested that he should consider them:

Let me ask you about the movement for black lives. As you know, over the last day they have released -- released sweeping proposals, proposed legislative changes on a -- on a national level to policing reform in America. I am going to list some of them. This is not all of them, but these are some of the key things. They are pushing to abolish the DEA and ICE, ban the use of facial recognition technologies, which you know can have bias built into them, abolish mandatory minimum sentences, and life sentences. Close federal prisons and immigration detention centers and also establish a commission to study reparations. I know there's a lot there, but looking at it I wonder given your position and what your city is going through right now, if there are elements of it that you agree with?

Harlow revealed herself as being in solidarity with the leftist anarchists that have ravaged cities such as Seattle and New York and set up violent autonomous zones. The lack of law and order has not gone well there, as there has been widespread violence in the zones due to the anarchists violently removing the police.

In fact, a 19-year-old boy was shot in CHOP, the Seattle autonomous zone. This provided a clear case study for how society would look without law and order, run by radical leftists. But Harlow, as a devoted far left ideologue, didn't seem to care.

Also, the “movement for black lives?” What do any of those things have to do with black lives? The group has cleverly used a slogan that everyone supports to push a Marxist agenda. Two of the group’s leaders are trained Marxists and the leader of the New York portion of the group stated that “"if this country doesn't give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it.”

The group’s website has shown little actual concern for black lives, but instead has discussed destroying the nuclear family. One would think that the group would focus on black on black violence, since it has left multiple children dead in the past few weeks and 93% of violent black deaths are from such violence. However, CNN’s Don Lemon says that BLM does not care about those black lives.

Fischer demonstrated how far left the Democrats have gone by stating that he supports reparations:

Well, there's no question we need significant reform. The reparations you mentioned, one of the first things I did as the President of the U.S. Conference of  Mayor -- Mayors was to pass a resolution supporting Congress -- Congress' commission to study and prepare and develop the reparations proposals for African-America. What's at the root of so much of this is poverty, right?  And poverty that’s been with black Americans for over 400 years right now. So that really is the issue. We need reparations, we need to go from a minimum wage to a living wage. If you eliminate poverty or vastly eliminate most of it, much of the crime in our country will go away.

Harlow seemed very happy with Fischer promoting such radicalism:

HARLOW: But you're supportive, it sounds like, of reparations.

FISCHER: Well we’ve, yes, we passed the resolution at the conference of mayors. It was my first act to do so. The -- the wealth gap between black Americans and white Americans cannot be explained away. Average white family has ten times the wealth of a black family. Those roots are in history. All the way through red lining and through today. And that needs to be addressed.

HARLOW: You're completely right. It does. Mayor, I appreciate your time very much this morning. You're welcome back any time. Thank you so much.

So white people today should pay for something their ancestors may or may have not done 150 years ago? CNN only cares about supporting a radical movement which fundamentally wants to change America. The cable channel is no longer composed of just Democrats, it now pushes an extreme left-wing agenda.

This far-left radicalism and promotion of Marxism was brought to viewers by Wayfair and Proctor & Gamble.
